Season 6 release delayed.
Due to ongoing problems with distribution, the Season 6 release of Daniel Boone has been delayed. As soon as a specific release date is known, it will be posted here.

Special features on the Season 5 set include: commentary by Darby Hinton on "Copperhead Izzy;" an interview with Jimmy Dean; and the missing scene (now restored) from "My Brother's Keeper." Yes, I've asked if there is a plan to release the entire restored episode. Once Season 6 is out, Liberation is considering the release of a "Best of Boone" set that may include the complete episode, "My Brother's Keeper."

Season 3 fix
Due to a replicator's manufacturing glitch, there are some problems with Disc 6 of Season 3 of Daniel Boone. Liberation Entertainment has informed me of the measures they are taking to correct this.

Most, but not all, of the defective sets are being replaced before they hit retail, so most consumers will not be affected by this problem.

Beginning Monday, April 23rd, any consumer who has a faulty disc can go to DanielBooneonDVD.com to request a new replacement disc. They will also receive a tres cool "Daniel Boone for President" bumper sticker. (You can view a shot of the bumper sticker at TVShowsOnDVD.com.)

Frequently Asked Questions
The most asked question has to do with the availability of episodes on video and DVD. We had the premiere episode,"Ken-Tuck-E," released to video in June of 2000, and Seasons 1 and 2 boxed sets were released in 2006, and Seasons 3 and 4 were released earlier this year. Season 5 was released on August 7, 2007, and we're still waiting to hear when Season 6 is expected to be released.
The second most asked question is for the lyrics to the Daniel Boone theme song. Enjoy! Thanks to Pam for providing the info!
And for those who've asked, Daniel Boone called his rifle "Tick Licker." The spelling varies according to source.
