Daniel Boone Playset...
This is it, Boone fans! Here is the officially licensed Daniel Boone Playset from Barzso Playsets, which includes figures of Daniel, Rebecca, Israel, and Mingo (one each), as well as lots of pioneer and Cherokee figures. Buildings included in the playset are the Boone's cabin, Cincinnatus' Tavern, the blacksmith's shop, a small cabin, a blockhouse, and plenty of accessories. As a special bonus, each Daniel Boone playset contains a 5x7 photo of Fess Parker as Daniel Boone, personally signed by Mr. Parker.
Also available is Fort Boonesborough (sold separately).
The detail on the figures and buildings is amazing! These are made in the U.S.A. with the serious collector in mind. They are not available in stores, and there are a limited number of sets available.
Defective Disk #1 in Season 6 Set...
Hello, All!
Fans have been sending me word that the first disc in the Season 6 set of Daniel Boone is defective. The first episode, "The Road to Freedom," jumps from the beginning of the theme song to a point well along in the story, skipping a major chunk of this very good episode.
Liberation Entertainment has asked me to apologize on their behalf for this production error, and they have set up a couple of places for you to request a replacement for your defective Season 6, Disc #1 at no cost to you. Just fill in the requested information at:

November 18, 2008 Update: Season 6 is now released!
There were reports prior to the November 18 that Season 6 was for already for sale , though at quite an inflated price. The two sites I have seen are definitely run by bootleg sellers. Their copies are illegal and almost always of poor quality, so no one gains anything from this but the bootleggers. I advise fans to avoid any dealings with those sites and to stick to legal, well-known sites. You can still order your copy of Daniel Boone Seasons 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 online through various stores and online sites, including Amazon.com, DeepDiscount.com, BarnesandNoble.com, or BestBuy.com.

The most asked question has to do with the availability of episodes on video and DVD. We had the premiere episode,"Ken-Tuck-E," released to video in June of 2000, Seasons 1 and 2 boxed sets were released in 2006, and Seasons 3 and 4 were released earlier this year. Season 5 was released on August 7, 2007, and Season 6 hit the shelves on November 18, 2008. Woo hooo!
